The first Sutherlin Throwdown is happening this weekend.

Events will take place at Central Park. They include a barbecue competition, cornhole tournament, beer and wine festival and live music.

The barbecue competition is sanctioned by the Pacific Northwest BBQ Association and features up to forty teams competing for $10,000. The cornhole competition has up to one hundred twenty teams competing for $5,000. The brewfest has up to twenty breweries from around the state.

Country artist Jessie Leigh has shared the stage with artists like Luke Combs, Josh Turner, Joe Nichols and more. She will perform in the park Saturday night from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
