Roseburg Police cited a man for drinking in public on Friday.

An RPD report said at 9:30 a.m. an officer observed the 42-year old drinking a beer along the bike path near the 200 block of Southeast Pine Street. He poured it out when contacted and was issued a citation.

At 4:00 p.m. an officer saw the man again drinking a beer in the same area. As soon as he saw the officer, the man poured it out. He was given a second citation and was released on the scene.
