Roseburg Police cited a woman after her vehicle struck a police car Saturday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 3:30 p.m. the woman’s SUV pulled out of a parking lot and turned left onto Northeast Airport Road. The driver had failed to check to see if the roadway was clear and her vehicle crashed into the side of the patrol car, causing severe damage to both vehicles. The vehicles were not drivable and had to be towed away.

The 20-year old was cited for making a dangerous left turn and for driving uninsured.
