The Douglas Forest Protective Association will be conducting dozer training and live fire training this weekend.
Public Information Officer Rachel Pope said Saturday’s training will be near Speedway Road, south of Roseburg. Pope said the training will begin at approximately 11:00 a.m. Smoke may be visible from Old Highway 99S, Interstate Five and Speedway Road.
On Sunday, training will take place in the Glide area. Smoke may be visible around Glide and from Gassy Creek Road near Sutherlin.
