The City of Roseburg has teamed up with information technology contractor Systech and launched eight new webpages that feature updated and expanded recycling and waste prevention information: https://www.cityofroseburg.org/services/recycling-and-waste-prevention

A City release said the new digital offerings replace one webpage that contained basic recycling information.

Community Development Director Stuart Cowie said, “Our objective in updating our recycling page is to help educate the community about recycling opportunities and how to prevent waste”.

The pages have information about how to reduce and reuse, repurpose or repair some common household goods plus details about what can be recycled curbside with Roseburg Disposal Company or at the Douglas County Transfer Station and Recycling Center in Roseburg.

More information will be added in the future to help residents and businesses use green or ecofriendly practices.
