In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

Umpqua Community College Performing and Visual Arts Department presents, “Ring of Fire” July 13th through 16th.

Originally created by Richard Maltby Jr. and conceived by Bill Meade, this theatrical performance will tell the story of Johnny Cash through his music sung by a cast of ten performers, outdoors in Swanson Amphitheater. The musical is about love and faith, struggle and success, rowdiness and redemption creating a musical portrait of The Man in Black.

Performances will be July 13th, 14th and 15th at 7:00 p.m. with matinees at 3:00 p.m. on the 15th and 16th. Admission is $15 per person, cash at the door. The content is appropriate for all ages. For more information call 440-4694.
