Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged theft incident on Friday.

An RPD report said at about 1:40 p.m. officers received a call saying that a theft had taken place at a business in the 1400 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. The 28-year old was found outside the location with the stolen goods. The items were returned to the business.

The suspect was charged with second-degree theft. Bail was set at $6,250. The man was released on Saturday.
