Roseburg Police cited a man Wednesday after an alleged theft from a store.

An RPD report said just after 7:30 p.m. a 41-year old man allegedly took just over $200 worth of merchandise from Albertsons in the 3000 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. Officers contacted the suspect a short time later and he admitted to the theft. The stolen items were returned to the officer.

The man was charged with second-degree theft and then was released.
