Roseburg Police jailed a woman for alleged disorderly conduct incidents on Monday.

An RPD report said just after 1:00 p.m. officers received multiple reports of the 39-year old running into traffic and throwing softball sized rocks into the road in the 1400 block of Northwest Stewart Park Drive. Officers arrived and allegedly watched her throw a rock into the road and saw it narrowly miss a motorcycle.

The suspect was detained without issue and taken to jail. Officers spoke with one of the reporting parties and learned that one of the rocks thrown had cracked the windshield of a passing vehicle.

The woman was charged with second-degree counts of disorderly conduct and criminal mischief. She was detained on $5,000 bail.
