Motorists should expect weekday delays and lane closures on Northwest Troost Street and Northwest Calkins Avenue this summer, as work is underway on a storm drainage pipe installation project.

A City of Roseburg release said the project involves installing about 1,100 linear feet of 36-inch and 24-inch diameter storm drainage pipe in Troost Street from Calkins Avenue to Northwest Witherspoon Avenue. The project also includes the installation of about 800 linear feet of 12-inch diameter storm pipe in the 2100 block of Calkins Avenue.

Work is taking place weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The project is expected to be completed in September.
