The Douglas County Parks Department will temporarily close the boat ramp and east day use parking lot at Ben Irving County Park, near the community of Tenmile, for a much-needed pavement improvement project.

A County release said the closure will be for Wednesday and Thursday, June 28th and 29th. The project includes striping and crack sealing and should take about two days to complete. The west day use area will not be affected by this closure, and will remain open to the public.
