Roseburg Police jailed a man following an alleged trespass incident on Friday.

An RPD report said just before 2:00 p.m. officers saw the 41-year old drinking beer at Riverside Park in the 500 block of Southeast Washington Street and knew the man was a city expulsion violator. He was contacted and detained without issue. The remaining beers the suspect had were discarded and he was transported to corrections.

The man was charged with second-degree criminal trespass and was cited for drinking in public. He was detained on $1,250 bail.
