The South Umpqua School District Lunchbox Express van is delivering free meals to children at various sites in south county.

A release said the meals are available to all children age 18 and younger.

Meals will be served through August 10th at these times and locations except on July 4th:

Breakfast:

*Mondays through Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 8:50 a.m. at Tri City Elementary

Lunch: in the Tri City and Myrtle Creek area through August 10th on Mondays through Thursdays:

*10:45 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Stagecoach Apartments

*11:35 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. at Tri City Elementary

*12:00 to 12:15 p.m. at Meadowlark Apartments

*12:20 to 12:35 p.m. at Millsite Park

*12:40 to 12:55 at Myrtle Creek Elementary

*1:00 to 1:15 at Myrtle Terrace Apartments

Lunch: in the Riddle area through July 6th and from July 31st to August 10th on Mondays through Thursdays:

*11:10 a.m. to 11:25 a.m. to Riddle Park

*July 10th to July 28th Mondays through Fridays:

*11:10 a.m. to 11:25 a.m. at Riddle Elementary

The summer food program is part of USDA Food and Nutrition Service and is administered by the Oregon Department of Education Child Nutrition Programs. Call 863-4611 for more information.
