A damaged section of the Umpqua River Trail multiuse path between Gaddis Park and Deer Creek Park is closed for repairs for about a week.

A City of Roseburg release said contractors are making repairs to a damaged 250-foot section of the trail.

Construction work requires the around-the-clock closure of that section of the path. Repair work is taking place weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The project is expected to be completed by June 27th.
