A Roseburg man was charged with a felony count of strangulation following a reported argument on Thursday night.

A Roseburg Police report said the victim claimed the suspect choked her during the incident in the 1100 block of Northeast Crescent Alley. The victim had markings on her throat.

20-year Caleb Hellyer admitted to the incident according to the RPD report. Hellyer was detained without bail.
