The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office has concluded its participation in their recent Click-It or Ticket Campaign.
Lieutenant Brad O’Dell said the campaign utilized a total of fifteen hours of grant funding and ran from May 22nd through June 2nd. O’Dell said deputies were looking specifically for seatbelt and child safety seat violations. The campaign yielded these contacts:
*11 speed warnings
*8 equipment violation warnings
*4 driving while suspended citations
*4 no seatbelt citations
*2 no seatbelt warnings
*1 each for speeding citation, interlock ignition device warning, distracted driving/cellphone warning, no operator’s license warning, and 1 arrest
*12 other violation warnings
