Sutherlin Police jailed a woman after a vehicle was allegedly taken without permission on Tuesday morning.

An SPD report said at about 6:45 a.m. the 39-year allegedly took the victim’s vehicle and drove it around a pond area in the 700 block of West Hastings Avenue. The suspect claims she had taken it because she wanted to “follow the voices”. The rig got stuck in overgrown vegetation.

The woman was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. She was detained without bail.
