Oregon State Police are seeking assistance from the public in locating a suspect vehicle from a recent incident in Roseburg.
An OSP release said on May 29th shortly before 10:30 p.m. a shooting was reported on Interstate Five northbound near the Harvard Avenue exit. OSP detectives developed 33-year old Ryan MacArt of Winston as a suspect in the case.
On June 2nd, with assistance from OSP SWAT, detectives arrested MacArt on twenty charges including attempted first-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon, being a felon in possession of a firearm and for menacing. MacArt remains detained without bail.
At the time of the shooting, MacArt was an occupant in a white.2004 Honda Pilot with Oregon license plate 239NRX. The release said this vehicle was also involved in ramming the victim’s vehicle and will have driver’s side damage.
Anyone with information about the Pilot’s whereabouts is requested to contact OSP at *OSP. OSP said investigators are unable to release further information regarding the case at this time.
