Roseburg Police charged a woman with second-degree assault after an alleged stabbing incident on Saturday.

An RPD report said sometime between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. a victim was allegedly stabbed by the 37-year old during an argument in the area of Gaddis Park in the 800 block of Northwest Highland Street. The victim was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center and evaluated for a large laceration on his back-shoulder blade.

The suspect was located later and was taken into custody after she admitted to stabbing the man.
