Roseburg Police jailed a man after alleged thefts on Saturday.

An RPD report said officers contacted the 36-year old Coos Bay man after a caller said he had stolen items from a business in the 700 block of Northeast Garden Valley Boulevard. The suspect was forced to stay on the scene until officers arrived. The man admitted to the thefts and officers recovered the stolen merchandise.

He was detained without bail.
