In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

The Umpqua Actor’s Community Theatre production of Bullshot Crummond is on stage through June 18th.

Bullshot Crummond is described as a mixture of the worlds of Sherlock Holmes, James Bond, and Mr. Bean!. UACT’s notes on the play said the dashing Captain Bullshot Crummond is a WWI ace fighter pilot, Olympic athlete, racing driver and part-time sleuth who must save the world from his wartime adversary Count Otto von Bruno. The fast-paced and hilarious farce stages comical wild thrills and spills of plane crashes, car chases, cliff hangers and sword fights.

The production is led by first time UACT director, Hugh Heinrichsen. Performances are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturday evenings at 7:00 p.m. and Sundays at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under.
