A Roseburg man was cited for outdoor burning, following an incident on Wednesday.

A Roseburg Police report said at 11:50 a.m. the 27-year old was contacted by police and fire officials, after callers said there was a fire near the disc golf course in the 1400 block of Stewart Park Drive.

A small fire was located under the Stewart Park Drive Bridge. The man admitted to starting the fire and was given a citation before being released.
