Roseburg Police cited a man for depositing trash within one hundred yards of waters or in waters, early Wednesday morning.

An RPD report said at 4:30 a.m. the 45-year old was contacted at the duck pond in the 1000 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard, because his camp was littered with garbage and trash. The camp had numerous bike parts and tools along with miscellaneous garbage and trash strewn about the ground. The report said the camp resembled a small landfill. The man was released after being cited.
