A Roseburg man was jailed after being found on the back porch of a residence on Tuesday.

The Roseburg Police report said about 6:45 p.m. the 47-year old was chased away from a residence in the 700 block of Northeast Newton Creek Drive. Officers found him nearby and knew he had a warrant from a recent case. He was allegedly found with methamphetamine in his possession during processing at the jail.

The suspect was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct and for a failure to appear warrant. He was cited for unlawful possession of meth-violation as well. Bail was set at $8,750.
