A burglary investigation led to the arrest of a 28-year old man by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday.

A DCSO report said back on April 11th a caller reported that an unknown person had unlawfully entered the home of the caller’s deceased family member in the 5000 block of Green Valley Road in the Oakland area.  The caller said the suspect had stolen two safes, several pistols, two-coin collections, gold dust and jewelry.

The man, identified as Chad Anderson-Thomas, was charged with first-degree aggravated theft, five counts of first-degree theft, first-degree theft by receiving, second-degree theft, and burglary. He was detained without bail.
