In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:

Kids in the Winston-Dillard area ages 9 through 17 are sought to be part of the summer musical in July during Riverbend Live!

“A Year with Frog and Toad Kids” will be performed July 28th and 29th. Adapted from the three-time Tony-nominated Broadway hit, the play is based on Arnold Lobel’s well-loved books. The show follows two great friends – a cheerful Frog and a grumpy Toad – through four fun-filled seasons as they celebrate the differences that make them special.

The production will be directed by Professor Bart McHenry of Umpqua Community College. McHenry said there are plenty of roles and a number of young actors are needed.
