A Roseburg man was jailed for two alleged restraining order violations and for third-degree criminal mischief, by Roseburg Police on Sunday.

An RPD report said just after 12:00 p.m. officers contacted 30-year old Michael Carney after he allegedly returned to a residence that he is restrained from in the 900 block of Northeast Parkview Court. The man reportedly knocked on the door and tried to enter the home but was unable to. During the investigation officers learned that Carney had returned to the residence the night before and grabbed some of his belongings.

Carney was taken into custody and while being driven to jail allegedly spit multiple times in the backseat of the patrol vehicle. He was detained without bail.
