14.33 percent of local voters have cast a ballot in the 2023 Douglas County May Special Districts Election, as of late Friday.

County Clerk Daniel Loomis said that lags slightly behind the participation rate for the same point in the May Special Districts Election two years ago.

Tuesday May 16th at 8:00 p.m. is the election deadline. Those who take their ballot to the post office on or near Election Day should ask that their envelope receive a hand-cancellation stamp. A ballot with a postmark after May 16th will not be counted.

Voters can also use one of the fifteen official ballot drop sites until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday night. A list of locations is linked: https://douglascounty-oregon.us/178/Elections
