A woman was taken to the hospital after a single-vehicle wreck on Monday morning.

An Oregon State Police report said shortly after 8:20 a.m. a sedan was negotiating a right-hand curve near the intersection of Highway 42 and Slater Creek Road in the Camas Valley area. The driver lost control on wet pavement causing the vehicle to slide across the westbound lane and impact the embankment on the north side of the roadway.

After bouncing back across the roadway, the sedan came to rest on the right shoulder. The driver complained of back pain and was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center for evaluation.
