The Roseburg City Council approved all agenda items at its meeting Monday night.

An ordinance amending a section of Roseburg Municipal Code regarding prohibited camping was read for the first time. Council directed staff to modify the ordinance language to split sports complexes and playground/play structures into separate sections and to adjust the distance in which camps are prohibited from structures, playgrounds, sports complexes and day care facilities to 200 feet.

Three telecommunications ordinances were adopted.

Mayor Larry Rich proclaimed May 21-27 as Emergency Medical Services Week and also as National Public Works Week.

The meeting adjourned just after 9:30 p.m.  The next council meeting will be Monday May 22nd.
