MYRTLE CREEK WOMAN JAILED FOLLOWING REPORTED DISTURBANCE

A Myrtle Creek woman was jailed following a reported disturbance Monday night.

Information from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said just before 11:45 p.m. deputies responded to the 900 block of Cornutt Street near Myrtle Creek. Upon investigation it was determined that the 33-year old had punched a victim in the face and pushed her into some cabinets.

The suspect was charged with fourth-degree assault and for harassment. The woman was detained without bail.
