Dr. Jason Gray has been appointed interim president of Mercy Medical Center.

Information from Mercy said Dr. Gray’s appointment follows the departure of Kelly Morgan, who is retiring in June. A national search is currently underway for the permanent president and CEO of the organization.

Dr. Gray has served as Mercy’s Chief Medical Officer for the past 12 years and has been an active member of the medical staff since 2000. Dr. Gray serves as vice president responsible for Mercy’s Ancillary service lines including cardiovascular services. Dr. Gray said, “I am grateful for the employees, volunteers and physicians who have welcomed me into this interim role with kindness and grace”. Dr. Gray said, “I am looking forward to continuing to support exceptional patient care at Mercy for our community”.
