The Douglas Interagency Narcotics Team has recently received two awards for its efforts in 2022.

A DINT social media post said the first award came from the Western States Information Network which recognized DINT as the agency of the year for Oregon Region II.

The second honor came from the United States Attorney’s Office District of Oregon in regards to being a Law Enforcement and Agency partner related to federally prosecuted crimes, which are generally conducted by DINT in partnership with DEA.

The post said while DINT received these awards, it wouldn’t be possible without the support of the Douglas County Commissioners, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, the Bureau of Land Management and the National Guard Counter Drug Task Force.

DINT said it will continue its mission its mission in reducing illegal drug activities in the community to maintain a safe living environment for citizens.
