The Glide School District Board of Directors has announced that they have selected three candidates to interview for their superintendent vacancy.

The candidates picked are:

*David Marshall – Brookings Harbor, Oregon

*Sidney Hobgood – Klamath Falls, Oregon

*Brandy Osborn-Hanshaw – Roseburg, Oregon

Interviews are scheduled to be conducted the week of April 24th. Numerous stakeholders will have the opportunity to meet the final candidates and submit input to the board about each of them. The board intends to make its selection by the end of April.

The district retained the services of McPherson & Jacobson, LLC to assist in conducting their search. The consultants reviewed, screened, and conducted extensive background checks on twelve applicants. The list of applicants was reduced to nine after initial screening and then to seven after further screening. On April 13, the consultants presented seven applicants to the Board of Directors and provided them with detailed background information on each applicant. The board selected three candidates as finalists.

The schedule for interviews is:

*April 25 – David Marshall

*April 26 – Sidney Hobgood

*April 27 – Brandy Osborn-Hanshaw
