Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office jailed a man following an alleged disturbance on Wednesday night in the 100 block of Cobb Street in Dillard.

A DCSO report said just before 6:15 p.m. the 52-year old allegedly became upset when a victim took his alcohol. The suspect reportedly followed the victim inside the residence where he grabbed her by the neck and threw her on the ground. The pair went back outside when the man allegedly kicked the victim in the stomach multiple times.

The suspect was described as “extremely intoxicated” and was unable to provide information. The victim did have marks from the incident.

The man was charged with harassment and detained on $2,500 bail. He was released on Thursday.
