Roseburg Police cited a man for a noise disturbance city ordinance violation on Saturday night.

An RPD report said at about 10:20 p.m. officers responded to a residence in the 1200 block of Northwest Ellan Street. The report said the 54-year old enjoys standing by his fire in the backyard while blaring loud music late into the evening. He had been advised of the city ordinance several times in the past. This evening a complaint came in that the music could be heard a block away.

He was released after the citation was issued.
