A Roseburg man was jailed by Roseburg Police following an alleged criminal trespass incident Saturday night.

An RPD report said at about 10:45 p.m. officers contacted the 35-year old after he allegedly stole items from a store in the 2100 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway and refused to leave. The man allegedly eventually stole a bike and left the scene before police arrived. He was contacted a short distance away and taken into custody without incident. The suspect was charged with second-degree counts of theft and criminal trespass. Bail was set at $6,250.
