MAN JAILED IN STOLEN VEHICLE CASE

A Roseburg man was jailed the by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office in a stolen vehicle case early Monday.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said a deputy spotted a stolen sedan near the corner of Chandler Drive and Carnes Road in Green, just after 2:00 a.m. He followed the vehicle to the 100 block of Chandler Drive where the driver quickly parked the car. The driver was challenged while additional units responded.

41-year old William Bosley was compliant and was taken into custody without issue. He was allegedly in possession of a key ring with 5 shaved keys and couldn’t given a probable explanation for having the vehicle. Bosley was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, possession of a stolen vehicle and for a parole violation. He was detained without bail.

The owner recovered the vehicle and reported that miscellaneous tools were missing.
