A Roseburg man was detained by Roseburg Police following an alleged DUII incident early Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 12:30 a.m. an officer observed the 45-year old man driving in the middle of Southeast Mosher Avenue near Southeast Main Street and Southeast Lane Avenue with plates that returned as unable to locate. The officer stopped the vehicle and observed signs of impairment. The driver consented to standard field sobriety tests and performed very poorly. He was transported to Corrections and cited and released for driving under the influence. He was also cited for failure to drive within a lane, driving uninsured and for having switched plates.

The license plates were returned to the Department of Motor Vehicles
