Icy roads led to a freeway wreck and partial closure on Thursday morning.
A report from Oregon State Police said just after 7:20 a.m. the driver of a northbound semi-truck lost control on Interstate 5 about a mile south of Sutherlin, striking the center concrete barrier and dislodging it. The semi came to rest in the slow lane of travel. A southbound vehicle apparently hit the barrier and crashed as well. Both southbound lanes and one northbound lane of travel on the freeway were closed for over two hours while the accident was cleaned up. Southbound traffic was detoured using the exit 135 interchange ramps.
No one was injured. The semi was towed from the scene.
