Roseburg Police cited a woman for a theft from a store on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 4:00 p.m. officers contacted a suspicious female behind a dumpster near a business in the 1400 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard and witnessed her hiding items under the dumpster. The woman identified herself and officers recovered $150 in new store merchandise from underneath the dumpster. The woman admitted to stealing the items and was cited for second-degree theft before being released.
