Sutherlin Police jailed two men on Wednesday for an alleged prior vehicle break in.
An SPD report said on Wednesday, August 19th at about 1:45 a.m. officers were dispatched to the 700 block of West Central Avenue for the incident that had occurred earlier in the night. Officers determined that two males had entered the vehicle and stole multiple items. They were later identified through surveillance video and officer contact to be 20-year-old Corbin Hawk and 25-year-old Devon Jones.
Hawk and Jones were located and contacted on Wednesday and taken into custody. Both men were charged with second-degree theft, unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and conspiracy to commit a class B misdemeanor. Officers were about to locate and recover all the property that had been stolen from the vehicle. Hawk and Jones were detained on $18,750 bail.
