The Umpqua Valley is expected to enjoy a warm Monday with cooler temperatures and potential showers heading to the region.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that Roseburg should have a high in the upper 80s on Monday. The leading edge of a low-pressure system will lead to spotty precipitation by Tuesday evening. A front will move in on Wednesday with light showers expected to increase by evening. More rain is forecast for Thursday and Friday.
The mercury reached 81 degrees on Sunday at the Roseburg Regional Airport.
