A Roseburg man was jailed for a previous burglary by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office on Monday afternoon.
A DCSO report said 24-year-old Corbin Porges was learned to be a suspect in the case. Leads showed Porges pawning a firearm and jewelry related to the burglary. A deputy confirmed with two businesses in Roseburg that the suspect had sold the jewelry to them. Porges was contacted at 3:00 p.m. and interviewed. He was then charged with first-degree counts of burglary, aggravated theft and aggravated theft by deception. He was detained without bail.
