The deadline to apply for an Umpqua Community College Foundation scholarship is August 31st.

A college release said scholarships can help make education at the school more affordable and support students pursuing a wide range of education and career goals. Whether a recent high school graduate or someone returning to school or pursuing a career change and wanting to continue their education, all those interested only have a short time to apply.

Another application cycle will open in February as the college has two of them a year.
