The Umpqua Valley will see slightly above normal high temperatures starting Saturday and continuing through next week.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Medford told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that conditions will warm Friday with a high in the mid 80’s. Then the region should be around 90 degrees in the afternoon for several days. There is a slight chance of showers or possibly thundershowers in Douglas County on Monday,

The mercury reached 76 degrees on Thursday at the Roseburg Regional Airport. 87 degrees is the normal high for the date.
