Roseburg Police dealt with a crash in the downtown area on Thursday afternoon.

An RPD report said just before 2:30 p.m. officers responded to the collision at the intersection of Southeast Washington Avenue and Southeast Kane Street. The investigation found that the first driver failed to remain stopped at the stop sign on Southeast Washington and his SUV collided with a sedan, as it was southbound on Southeast Kane. The first vehicle sustained damage to the passenger-side front fender while the second vehicle had damage to the driver-side front tire, fender and driver’s side door. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
