Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged menacing and harassment incident on Thursday night.

An RPD report said at 6:20 p.m. officers responded to a residence in the 500 block of Southeast Hillside Drive after a caller said there was a disturbance at that location. While on scene, officers learned the suspect and a victim had gotten into a dispute that led to the 54-year-old suspect threatening to shoot the victim and walking towards a gun. The victim then reportedly got in his way and the suspect allegedly threw her to the ground.

The man was charged with menacing and harassment. Bail was set at $8,750.
