Roseburg had the second hottest day of the year so far, on Friday.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that the mercury reached 84 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport. The hottest high temperature so far in 2026 was 85 degrees, which was achieved both on Thursday, and on May 3rd. The previous second hottest day of the year was 83 degrees on May 9th.

Afternoon high temperatures of around 80 degrees are forecast for Saturday and Sunday, before a cold front brings cooler temperatures and the chance for rain, starting on Monday afternoon.
