Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged disorderly conduct incident on Thursday.

An RPD report said at 9:30 a.m. officers contacted the 37-year-old at a gas station in the 700 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. The man was reportedly smearing a small amount of gas on himself while smoking a cigarette. This generated multiple calls from concerned passersby. The man was taken into custody. He was charged with second-degree disorderly conduct. Bail was set at $2,500.
